Alex N. Dominguez joined KSC in 2026 as an associate. Alex is an accomplished attorney specializing in public agency and water law who works with clients seeking to obtain, develop, manage, and transfer water and water rights throughout the State. He has extensive experience advising a wide range of water districts, groundwater sustainability agencies, and other like organizations on water issues as well as serving as General Counsel to such entities. With deep ties to the Central Valley, Alex brings both regional insight and practical legal experience to issues that directly impact agriculture, businesses, and communities.

Alex earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2020. While in law school, Alex was a member of the Trial Advocacy Board, competing and coaching in trial competitions nationwide, and was later inducted into the Trial Advocacy Hall of Fame. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State University, Bakersfield, and an Associate of Arts in Political Science from Bakersfield College.

Before beginning his legal practice, Alex gained valuable experience working with elected officials at the local, state, and federal levels, developing a strong foundation in public policy, regulatory processes, and government decision-making. This background informs his approach to water law, where legal issues often intersect with administrative agencies and public governance.

Alex is actively involved in both the legal profession and the community as a member of Board of Directors of the Kern County Bar Association and 1st Vice President of the Kern County Farm Bureau.

Alex’s work and community service has also garnered community recognition, including being honored as one of Kern County’s “20 Under 40” leaders, celebrating his professional achievements and civic contributions.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife, Jordan, and their sheep-a-doodle. Alex and Jordan enjoy traveling and when stateside, spending time with family and friends.
